July 11, 2006 - The off reserve Aboriginal People are done waiting. They have waited 35 years only to find out that nothing is moving. They are also concerned regarding the fact that they are still in the same position that they were at the beginning. They have decided to take their own destiny in their own hands; they have created the CONFEDERATION OF ABORIGINAL PEOPLE OF CANADA (CAPC). The creation of the CPAC will assure a dedicated and adapted development for the next seven generations. This is our responsibility and this is the way our culture has always been.
